Easton is Bluejay’s cocky captain and his top rival and long time secret crush is Declan, Redwood’s grumpy captain who hates his guts (when he isn’t staring at Easton’s lips in secret). They both have the same goal: destroy each other’s team and make it to pro.

“My hand brushes his wrist—barely a touch, but he tenses like it’s a wire to his spine. He looks down, then up, his gaze darting from my mouth to my eyes and back again.
